Montgomery 15 Center Board Installation
In June 1982, "Little Breeze" set sail from California, headed for Hawaii. Mike Mann, her owner and sole passenger, arrived in Oahu 36 days later. Since that time, Little Breeze has spent quite a lot of her life not sitting on a trailer as most Montgomery 15's would. Instead she was moored in the water. The Salty and corrosive waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Shortly after Ron and Jennifer Tiernay bought Little Breeze in 2006, and while on a day sail, the center board  simply fell out. Held only by the pendant allowing the board to bang the bottom. Still sailing and trying to make it home, the pendant broke sending the board deep into Davey Jones Locker, to be held and used forever as a roof over some crustacean home.

The new board was ordered from Montgomery Boats, the new trailer ordered from a local boat dealer; Ron simply lifted her stern on the trailer, supported her with wood blocks, punched out the remainder of the CB pin,  installed the new board, faired the leading edge to match the depth of the CB housing, installed a new CB pin and epoxied it in place.
