The object is to make it easier to load the boat back onto the trailer, even in a crosswind or wave situation. Trailer mounted boat guides are a part of the solution. Using these in conjunction with Keel Guide Ons will center the boat in almost any condition. These are MacGregor 26 trailer guides from the dealer. The cost is under one hundred dollars for the pair and are made exceptionally strong and almost an exact fit for the M-17 trailer. The mounting flanges are approximately 2 X 10 inches and will require 4 holes to be drilled into the trailer for installation.
