I was impressed the way the Flicka would heel over and dig in to accelerate against the heavy San Francisco Bay winds.  Her weight would bring us through the slow tacks and her full keel would keep us accelerating through the hard,  fast tacks needed in traffic.  Five foot eleven inches of headroom,  a full galley, opening portlights and an enclosed head all in a trailerable craft.
A note on the Color Brochure Sheet at the right. Sent to me at 1245 X 1618 and I did not have the heart to cut it down to the Photo Site standard of 1024 X 768.  If you like the Flicka, this sheet will make you want one even more. If you would like even more incentive, take a look at the four page   full color brochure in the PDF section of the Photo Site.

1989 Pacific SeaCraft  Flicka
"Hotspur"
Home
Designed by Bruce Bingham and for the most part manufactured by the now closed, Pacific Seacraft Corporation of Southern California.  PSC was well known for their commitment to quality and the Flicka displays their goals quite well.  I sailed for a couple of hours with Eric Jungeman,  owner of Hotspur at the time.
