Photo on the upper left with main and jib reefed in heavy winds during the Buzzards Bay crossing. Far right is an M15 raft up. Finally is on this side, Rick Langer's Bluebird is on the outside and the red swallow tail pennant is at the masthead of Doug Kelch's Seas The Day.
One of the photos show two reef points in the main. Frank has yet to use the second reef point, but knows it is very cheap insurance, should the need arise to reduce the main further. Notice also the Egyptian Cotton look of the sails. Doug Kelch may have been the first in the North East to use these on his M15 and Frank liked the look so well, he ordered his with the same sails.
Frank has created and added a few space savers which are mounted on each side of the companionway; bottom left is a paper towel, dish cloth and dish towel holder. Middle row, right is the galley equipment rack. To make the arrangement fit, Frank sought out smallish plates and glasses. Bottom row is the enclosed fuel reserves. Three of these plastic gas jugs fit in here are are nicely covered by the enclosure.

"Finally was delivered after a very long wait (hence the name) late August of 2006. Fortunately just in time for the Massachusetts cruise as her maiden voyage. The boat was delivered, and taken to Rick's home (bluebird). In preparation for the week long cruise they installed a couple of bulkheads to keep items from moving too far back into the bilge and removed the bottom of the port settee so as to gain access to the now blocked area to store large items such as anchors and fenders, and the teak was Cetoled. Thanks to Rick for the help and company."
