Michael "Bones" Bowden is a great contributor to this Photo Site. You will see reference to him here, on the BCC Sentient and in many of the old brochures posted in albums.

When  "Bones"  bought Dhana from Dick Lane she was named Sadhana.  To personalize her Bones endured John Vigor's renaming ceremony and shortened the name.  For those who may not know;  the ceremony is a required act when renaming a sailing vessel so as to keep harmony and appease Neptune.

Hull Number 75 was built without a fiberglass liner.  When the original owner took delivery,  she was not ready to sail but was taken home and the interior was fabricated and finished by the owner.  This has its advantages as the owner can design the interior to his liking with custom woods and added features.  Making Dhana a one of a kind M-23. At lower left is Bones Montgomery 17 "Bonita" who also has an album on the Site.

Top row, middle right is Nancy.  Nancy and Bones have been married for almost 30 years.  They share lots of the same interests and sailing and Dhana are but two.
In the MSOG E-mail Forum,  Dick Lane prior owner made this comment about the old style M-23;  I have been aboard M-23 "Sea Cutter" and I used to own "Sadhana"  (this M-23)  and I much prefer the old style even though the new style gives wider decks around the house.  I always figured that stanchions and lifelines on these narrow decks would be a tripping hazard and just used the full length Teak handrails when going forward.  I feel the cabin room sacrificed by the change really detracts from the "Noah's Ark" feel of the original layout."
